Our Current Goal:
$27,000.00 towards bridging our financial gap until March of 2025
At Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship Center, the happiness, safety, and well-being of our riders is our top priority. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-changing therapeutic riding and horsemanship programs, we know that community support is crucial to the success for every participant. This Giving Tuesday, we are reaching out for your support to help us provide another year of services for our riders.
Why Is Community Support So Important?
Without your support, Strides will cease to exist. Strides is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Organization. We rely entirely on donations, sponsorships, partnerships and gifts in-kind to keep our services running. Supporting Strides gives a disabled person the opportunity to thrive with equine assisted therapies with a low rate of fees. Veterans and First Responders are offered services at no cost because of scholarship funds and donations provided by the public.
Our Need:
It's that time of year again, maybe you have a foundation that needs to give to a charitable organization? Maybe the holiday season gets you in the mood to help out and give..... Maybe Strides is near and dear to your heart and you want to help it succeed.
We know it's a huge ask, but Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship Center is not going to make it without your help. Our operating costs average about $9,000.00 a month. It's been a tough year and we are critically low in funding. We are asking for monetary donations to help get us though until our annual fundraiser in March 2025 happens and next years grants begin to come in.
Your monetary donation helps to build next year's programs, feed our horses over winter, buy necessary safety gear, fund necessary staffing to keep us going, fund property maintenance and additions, build obstacles and sensory stations for lessons, and continue to offer our services to the many people we serve. Without you, we are struggling and are facing an uncertain financial future. Every donation, no matter how large or small, helps. Please give if you are able and help Strides stay in Tri-Cities for another year of service to our community.
How You Can Help:
Your donation today will go directly toward the greatest immediate need. Every dollar is a step toward ensuring that each participant—whether a child, adult, or veteran—can continue their journey with Strides in a safe and supportive environment.
Here’s how you can make a difference:
$50.00 a monthly re-occurring payment for a set time helps with money we can rely on.
$130.00 provides one new, certified helmet for a rider
$400.00 provides feed supplements for our herd for one month
$650.00 pays the farrier costs every 6-8 weeks
$1000.00 makes a dent in the much needed facility upgrades
$60,000.00 Helps pay the critical need for salaries to staff our programs
$80-$200,000.00 builds us a new covered arena so we can work longer hours providing year-round services that are greatly needed!
Your Gift's Impact:
With your donation, you're not just helping us buy equipment, feed and care for horses, support staffing to build and expand new programs—you're investing in the safety, confidence, and future of our riders. Financial support means that more individuals can continue to experience the healing power of horses, whether they are working on their physical rehabilitation, overcoming emotional challenges, or simply finding joy in the companionship of an animal.
Join Us on Giving Tuesday:
We know we have some lofty goals. Your support on this Giving Tuesday will ensure that Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship Center can continue providing top-quality care and safe, effective therapeutic riding experiences for all participants. Please consider making a donation today, and help us to ensure that our riders will have continued services into 2025.
