About Us

... A little taste of country and a big breath of fresh air, Strides is located 5-minutes outside of Pasco, WA city limits and offers life-changing experiences to people of all ages and abilities.

Since 2006, Strides Therapeutic Horsemanship Center has led an effort to help those with disabilities to lead more enriched lives through equine-assisted activities and therapies.

Strides is primarily run by a diverse group of volunteers who work to ensure the non-profit is able to meet our mission. The passion, hard work and love these individuals give to the program are just a few of the reasons for Strides’s success.

Beyond helping our community's children and adults achieve their goals, we have given new life to several of our horses. Being able to give these gentle souls a second chance not only inspires us, but inspires our riders and their families.
