All Strides lessons, adaptive or hippotherapy, are 8 weeks and occur during the months of April through October. The 8 week riding sessions are broken down to spring, summer, and fall. 

Before an applicant can be considered for the Strides programs, forms must be completely filled out and returned to the Strides mailing address or by email to our Client Coordinator at Hello@StridesTC.org.

The application form requests information on participant’s medical history, and requires a certified health care provider’s authorization. Once all forms are received and are verified for completeness, if the applicant is an appropriate candidate for therapeutic riding according to the PATH guidelines, the applicant will either be enrolled in the program or put on the waiting list if there is not an available riding lesson slot. We do our best to accommodate all applicants.

*Ky Miller Scholarship*

The Ky Miller Scholarship is available for a 25% - 75% reduced cost based off of financial need. At this time we offer TWO scholarships per riding session. All applications for the Ky Miller Scholarship for the upcoming riding session must be completed and returned to the Strides mailing address two weeks prior to the session beginning for consideration.

After a rider has been notified about their scholarship they will be given a copy of the application with the session fee prior to session starting, unless other arrangements have been agreed to. If the rider is paying online they will be given a unique code to enter for their payment.
